EI Core with GAP Lamination
EI Core with GAP Lamination is a core material used in electromagnetic devices such as transformers and inductors, with the following features:
EI Core: It is composed of E-shaped and I-shaped laminations, which are easy to assemble and disassemble, and are commonly used in transformers and inductors.
GAP Lamination: There is an air gap between the laminations to adjust the magnetic resistance of the magnetic circuit, improve the energy storage capacity, and prevent the core from saturating.
Material: High permeability, low-loss silicon steel sheets or ferrites are usually used to reduce eddy current and hysteresis losses.
